Travel insurance for a Russian visa: requirements and prices

A valid travel insurance policy is attached to every Russian visa application. Insurance bought from us meets the requirements of the Russian visa, with cover of 30 000 € per insured person.

When you order the visa and the insurance together, you do not need to handle the certificate yourself: we attach the insurance directly to the visa application.

The price depends on three things: whether you buy the insurance with a visa order or separately, how long the cover needs to be, and your age group.

With a visa order, insurance for ages 0–69 costs 30 € (up to 30 days), 60 € (up to 90 days) or 80 € (an option valid for 180 days with cover for up to 30 travel days). Bought separately, the same policies cost 45 €, 75 € and 95 €.

For ages 70–79 the prices are 60 €, 120 € and 160 € with a visa order, and 75 €, 135 € and 175 € separately. Insurance for people aged 80 or over is priced individually. The age group is determined by the issue date of the policy.

One policy can cover up to four insured persons, so a family or travel group is covered with a single order.

Tell us the travellers' ages, the duration, the start date and your contact details on the form. We confirm the price and send a payment link within one working day; you can also pay at the office.

The insurance is issued after payment and a review, normally within one working day. You receive the certificate (PDF) by email, and with a visa order we attach it directly to the application.

Passport copies are not sent through the website. If the insurance needs passport details, you receive secure delivery instructions with the order confirmation.

The premium is not refunded once processing has started. It is also not refunded if the trip is cancelled or the visa application is refused.
