A passport photo with the electronic photo code costs €20 and visa photos start from €10. We take photos without an appointment at our office at Tehtaankatu 12, Helsinki, Mon–Fri 09–17, and they are ready immediately. For passport photos we send the photo code straight to the police system.

What is the electronic photo code?
For a passport photo you get a photo code that you give to the police in a passport or ID card application. The photo goes straight into the authority's system. You don't need to print or deliver a photo separately. For the Finnish passport, identity card and other applications that use the police's electronic photo system, the photo is always taken at the Rustravel office and delivered directly into the police system.
