Visa centre, form and fingerprints: what to know
China visa applications in Finland are filed through the official Chinese visa centre in Helsinki, and Rustravel usually files the documents for you. A personal visit and fingerprints are required especially in long-term categories that lead to a residence permit after entry, for example Z, X1, D, J1, Q1 and S1 visas. Short-term tourist and business visas, short family visits and X2 student visas usually do not require fingerprints. The visa centre confirms the final need per application and visa category.
