Country requirement

Why a trade register extract needs the full chain for Kuwait

Setting up a branch, opening a bank account and public tenders require a legalised trade register extract. Kuwait is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille alone is not accepted. The document goes through the full consular chain: attestation in Finland, MFA legalisation, embassy legalisation and confirmation by the destination's foreign ministry. We handle every stage for you.

Process

How the chain proceeds for Kuwait

  1. 01

    Fresh PRH extract

We order a fresh extract from the Finnish Trade Register (PRH) and have it attested by a notary or DVV.

  2. 02

    Ministry for Foreign Affairs

The Finnish MFA legalises the notary's or DVV's signature (€30 per signature).

  3. 03

    Embassy legalisation

The document is legalised at the Kuwaiti embassy in Helsinki (fee €39–511 depending on document type).

  4. 04

    Confirmation at destination

On arrival the document is attested at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We brief the recipient in advance.

The total consists of authority fees (MFA €30 per signature, embassy €39–511) and our service fee (€100). You get an exact quote before we start.
